Children's Swimming Lessons

Just fabulous!! My son Oliver arrived there yesterday for his first swimming lesson absolutely terrified, and left feeling great after having been able to learn so much in just one session! Cannot praise the instructors highly enough, you make children feel safe and cared for, and give so much encouragement. Oliver is a very shy and nervous child, but achieved so much yesterday, and I couldn't be happier. Thank you so much, I will be recommending you to everyone!!!

Oliver has been with the School of Swimmers just over three years, he was then five years old. He previously had 21 months of swimming lessons with another company and we were still struggling to even get him in the water even after all the months of swimming lessons. I remember his first lesson with the School of Swimmers, Babs had so much patience, Oliver liked her straight away and even though he was fearful of the water and was literally on top of Babs head the first few lessons he soon gained confidence. Babs not only taught Oliver to swim she also explained how he should breath in water and showed him that listening skills were key to be a great swimmer. She praised him and her patience was amazing. Babs knows how to get the best out of the children she teaches and helps them with their confidence through patience and reassurance.Within five weeks of Oliver having swimming lessons he could swim independently under water. Oliver is now eight years old and still loves his swimming lessons, he is an amazing swimmer for his age and Babs continues to teach Oliver. He has now got so much confidence in water and will attempt any challenge he has been given. The school of Swimmers are simply amazing and we can't thank Babs
enough for helping Oliver learn this important life skill.

A friend of mine gave me the school of Swimmers number as Charlie my son was petrified of water and hated having a bath let alone go swimming or get water in his face. I knew how important it is to swim so I rang and got him booked in. I hated swimming lessons as a child so was dreading taking him. On arriving everyone I came in contact with was lovely they was really welcoming. Babs told me after his first lesson that she would have him swimming in 6-8 weeks. I was very doubtful as I said earlier he was petrified of water in his face but I trusted her judgement and was excited to see him get used to the water. Today was his 8th time. He SWAM 5 metres of the pool. Amazed doesn't cover it. Babs is by far the best swimming teacher I have ever met. The lessons are worth every penny and when our youngest son is old enough he will be starting. If she can get Charlie to swim she can learn anyone. Monday is the best day of the week in our house. I am forever grateful.
